For no insurance, you can continue through the steps to schedule your appointment and pay with HSA, FSA, or credit card. 

Our appointments fill up quickly, we encourage you to schedule your consultation before you receive insurance approval.  There is no penalty if you do not have coverage and wish to cancel the appointment. schedule lactation consultant

Refer to the map to determine the consultant for your area. By choosing the IBCLC assigned to your region, we can accommodate more families.

First, click the down arrow to schedule an appointment type (in-home, clinic or virtual).

Then, choose your consultant based on the location of your home by clicking the down arrow.  Choose the date and time that works best for you. 

We do provide office visits near Michigan Road and 465 on the Northwest side of Indy for those who desire that option or live out of our service area.

Cigna clients should receive immediate verification. If approved, move to step four to pay the travel fee for an in-home visit. 

Other insurance companies may take longer to verify. You may schedule your appointment before verification to ensure timely care. If you learn that your insurance will not cover your appointment and wish to cancel text 317-495-8967. You will not incur a cancellation fee.

Though we can verify that you are an active policy holder, the exact amount of lactation coverage may vary based on your plan. If you have specific questions or want personal verfication of what your insurace provides in regards to lactation services, please call the customer service number on the back of your card.

All payments can be made with HSA, FSA, or credit card. We do not store you credit card information, so you must pay for each additional visit.

After your appointment is scheduled and payment is confirmed, you will receive two important communications. 

• From Indy Lactation Care, you will receive instructions on how to prepare for your consultation by text. You must opt into texting.
• From Milk Notes, you will receive an appointment confirmation by email and a link to complete your consent forms and medical records.  You do not need to complete the 'insurance' portion of your chart.
