For all other insurance, click here to verify if we are in-network with your plan through The Lactation Network. Choose "emergent," then return for step two.

For no insurance, you can continue through the steps to schedule your appointment and pay with HSA, FSA, or credit card. 

Our appointments fill up quickly, we encourage you to schedule your consultation before you receive insurance approval.  There is no penalty if you do not have coverage and wish to cancel the appointment. 

It's easy! 

Refer to the map to determine the consultant for your area. By choosing the IBCLC assigned to your region, we can accommodate more families.

First, click the down arrow to schedule an appointment type (in-home, clinic or virtual).

Then, choose your consultant by clicking the down arrow.  Choose the date and time that works best for you. 

Next, we ask that you opt-in to texting so that we can send you further information about your appointment and what to expect and allow you to ask questions as needed. Simply fill out this form. 

Confused? Do you not see a time or date that works for you? Do you have an urgent need? Were you referred to a specific IBCLC who is not in your area? Is your area not indicated on the map? 

Please text 317-495-8967 for scheduling help. We work hard to make sure all families get timely care. 

Cigna clients should receive immediate verification. If approved, move to step four to pay the travel fee for an in-home visit. 

If you submitted to The Lactation Network and marked "emergent", you should hear about your coverage within one business day.  If approved, move to step four to pay the travel fee for an in-home visit. 

If you DO NOT have coverage, please move to step four to pay and secure your appointment. 

If you learn that your insurance will not cover your appointment and wish to cancel text 317-495-8962. You will not incur a cancellation fee. 

All payments can be made with HSA, FSA, or credit card. We do not store you credit card information, so you must pay for each additional visit.

All clinic visits and virtual visits do not incur an additional fee. 

Please note that there is a $50 fee for cancellations less than 24 hours before your appointment. 

After your appointment is scheduled and payment is confirmed, you will receive two important communications. 

• From Indy Lactation Care, you will receive instructions on how to prepare for your consultation by text. You must opt into texting.
• From Milk Notes, you will receive an appointment confirmation by email and a link to complete your consent forms and medical records.  You do not need to complete the 'insurance' portion of your chart.

Sometimes, emails get sent to spam, so be sure to check! If you cannot locate the emails, please text 317-495-8967.
